Our thanks to the Goulburn Soldiers Club for the use of the Belmore Room again. It is one of our favourite exhibition places and we greatly appreciate it. Only one painting was sold so congratulations to those Katya. Congratulations also to Julie on the sale of 3 (I think) of her beautiful ceramics. Thank you all for bringing the paintings on time, to all those who stayed and helped to organise the room and hang the works, those who did duties, for everyone turning up to collect their paintings at the close and those who pulled it down.

Our thanks to the CWA for the use of their rooms which proved to be a wonderful venue. It was a shame the weather was not more favourable, but the rain was certainly needed in this area, so we can't complain.

4 paintings were sold and congratulations to those members.

The Annual Exhibition Another Great
Success Story

A huge thank you to all those who assisted in the work for the exhibition – we were very short on helpers this year due to so many members going on holidays all at once so the burden fell on a few peoples shoulders. Hanging and setting up day was a very long and arduous one thankyou to all those who stuck with it.

We sold 11 paintings which was excellent to see, considering the dismal financial news that was being broadcast over the weekend it was pleasing to see that people still spent money on art. Local members did very well in the awards handed out by the judge, we really can hold our head up high with the increasing number of out of town professional artists we were competing against. Especially the pastel section taking first and second prizes. A First in the drawing section and a highly commended and commended in the Oil section. Congratulations to the award winners!
